F.I.A. (Find, Inform, Alert)
Find – Location Based Services
Inform – 2D Cameraphone Scanning
Alert – SMS Alerting
Most marketing practitioners would agree that the 4 fundamental elements of the “marketing mix” are: product, place, promotion and price. Today, a new breed of P’s is impacting the marketing mix: personalization, process, profiling, peer-to-peer networks, predictive modeling and so on. The mix of the P’s may change, but a marketer’s duty is to convey the value of owning or using specific products and services.
F.I.A. is a marketing platform or rather an exercise in ingenuity. Azure Media identifies and utilizes the best of new breed mobile technologies and processes to maximize the fundamental marketing mix.
Think of F.I.A. as a search engine. F.I.A. seeks out customers that are looking for specific products and brands. F.I.A. takes into consideration the place of the product and the prospective customer, using LBS technology. When a match exists between a product and customer (person), our technology alerts the customer by generating a dynamic promotion and price.
Find - LBS
The F or Find component of our F.I.A. mobile marketing platform is our location based service (LBS). Azure uses LBS to geographically connect consumers, marketers and promotions. This all translates into a personalized marketing experience for both the consumer and marketer. How?
Consumers tell us what they want, when they want it and where they are geographically looking. All the while, marketers give us business rules and consumer segmentation data that can be configured on the fly to generate a promotion for 1 or 1,000,000 (potential customers). Those promotions are pushed to the consumers when a match is identified.
Essentially it works like an engaging two-way search engine, where consumers are looking for deals and marketers are looking for consumer traffic. The technology can drive consumers into a specific retail outlet, to the web or to an IVR call system.
Inform - 2D
The I or Inform component of our F.I.A. mobile marketing platform utilizes the camera on the mobile phone to connect consumes to content. The camera can either scan (2D) or take a snapshot and connect to a mobile website, video clip, commercial, audio clip, ringtones, games, wallpaper, document or be part of a series of steps to make a purchase or participate in a sweepstakes or survey.
In the coming months, consumers will witness the proliferation of 2-D bar codes and the transformation of ordinary images into information gateways.
Other applications of this technology include: museum tours, walking tours, movie trailers on posters, traffic reports at bus shelters and in-store merchandising solutions.
